We have a wonderful neighborhood and during this festive season, we are going to light up our streets and pathways with luminarias. Join us as we set Wendwood aglow on December 18th starting at 5:00pm. That evening, we can stroll the streets enjoying the luminarias and greeting our neighbors. Feel free to make your own luminarias or you can buy kits that will be delivered to your door from the association. Still need to buy? – text Beth (757-817-7889) for availability.

Add 1 Inch of Sand
Play sand is perfect and is found at all home improvement stores.
Place Bags 5 Feet Apart
Place along the curbs, sidewalks, and driveways of your property.
10-Hour Votive Candles
Provide a nice, long show for all the effort
Allow Time for Setup
Make sure you start early enough to be ready to go at 5pm.
Don't Forget to Clean Up
Dispose of the lumenarias after the evening is done and the candles are extinguished and cool.
